More Details:

Our first ride at the stunning Baronscourt Estate this year.

The tracks take you out out of the Estate and into the surrounding countryside, offering some superb tracks and stunning views. To finish you get a wonderful ride around the lake that fronts Baronscourt House itself. A venue, if you have not been before, is one not to miss - you will not regret it.

Pleasure and Competitive rides available allowing those looking to achieve more and increase their own and their horse's fitness levels.

As well as our usual Pleasure and Vetted Pleasure Rides we will be offering both a Bronze Qualifier Competitive Trail Ride (approx. 36km/22 miles) for CTR members and registered horses only and a pre-novice level competitive ride over a shorter distance (approx. 18km/11 miles).

If you're new to endurance or returning after a lay off (who isn't?) then this could be the ideal starter for you...

Baronscourt Estate is Lord Abercorn’s magnificent seat….the great number of fine oaks and three long narrow lakes which ornament this place give it an air of great grandeur. While you ride around the estate in spring and early summer you can enjoy the magnificent displays of bluebells, rhododendrons and azaleas. The carefully tended woods along with the lakes create a truly enchanted location in which to ride away from the pressures of modern living.

This ride is not too hilly and suitable for accompanying younger children on foot or bike.

Entrance off the B84 about 8km (5 miles) from Newtownstewart.
